The Anywhere Pickleball Activation Grant (APAG) gives US community organizations a free, portable pickleball court kit: everything needed to mark out a court on a surface they already have.

How APAG Works

  1. Apply. Schools, parks, senior centers, youth programs and other community organizations apply in about five minutes. We verify each one.
  2. Get picked. Every Monday from October 12, 2026, we give one verified organization a free kit. Local sponsors can fund more.
  3. Play and report. The organization signs a short Activation Agreement and we ship the kit. They send photos and a player count 7 and 30 days after delivery, and we share each activation once it happens.

Why Pickleball?

It has been America’s fastest-growing sport for five years running, with 24.3 million players in 2025 (SFIA, 2026). And it is easy to start at any age.

For Kids

Motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and activity that doesn’t feel like exercise. Low-barrier for beginners, perfect for PE class, after-school clubs, and summer camps.

For Seniors

Balance, gentle movement, and social connection. Easier to learn than tennis, on a smaller court. A growing part of active aging programs.

For Communities

Cross-generational, inclusive, joyful. Courts become gathering places, and play becomes community.

Why Communities Need This

The Problem

Private club fees add up fast. Public courts are crowded, and beginners, kids, and seniors often don’t feel welcome. Students and seniors especially struggle to travel to and train at public courts.

The APAG Fix

  • Free for the organization: no membership, no rental fee
  • Everything included: court layout tool, net, court tape, paddles, and balls
  • Court marked out in about 10 minutes with the Protractor
  • Fits almost anywhere: the court is 20 × 44 ft, on any hard, flat surface of 30 × 60 ft or more
